Also included on this long-awaited release are a long and short version of the hot dance remix of Rhythm of the Rain. This masterfully produced CD is a must for any fan of the Cascades.
“After the Rain”, released in 2005, is a collection of original songs penned by Cascades John Gummoe and Gabe Lapano, including I Just Came By to Get a Smile, Who Hurts the Most, Grandpa’s Radio, and Lisa’s Eyes. Also featured is Good Day for the Blues, written by Cascades co-founder Len Green. A highlight is the beautiful 2005 adult contemporary version of Gummoe’s classic Rhythm of the Rain, as you’ve never heard before.
